The Bachelor of Arts in European Legal Studies is a three-year, first-cycle program offered in English language at a tuition fee of 6,000 PLN. The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of European legal culture, the democratic pathways of EU countries, and Europe's position in global politics and trade. The mandatory courses cover topics such as international law, human rights, trade, and data protection, while the elective courses offer a choice of several special focus tracks in law, business, and society. Upon completion of the program, graduates can pursue a legal career in public and economic institutions or private business ventures in their home countries. The Bachelor of Arts in European Legal Studies program offers a comprehensive introduction to European legal studies and focuses on the European integration process, past and present challenges of the European integration, public and state policies, as well as law, business, and society issues. The program is a three-year, full-time course that includes mandatory and elective courses. The mandatory courses cover topics such as international law, philosophy of law, human rights, trade in goods, consumer law, intellectual property law, judicial cooperation, international private law, and data protection. The elective courses cover a range of topics, including EU criminal law, food law, energy and telecommunications law, personal law, social mobility, ethics, public procurement law, mergers and acquisitions, patents and antitrust, intercultural communication, humanism and humanity, law and religion in Europe, direct democracy, and European identity. Students have the opportunity to develop their language skills in legal/business English and Polish. By the end of the third year, students can choose from several special focus tracks to define their future legal career. The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to apply their broad knowledge of European law in their home countries, both in public and economic institutions as well as with private business ventures. Graduates of the program will be well-equipped to pursue careers in law, business, and other related fields.
