The Master of Science in Environmental Protection is a two-year, full-time second-cycle academic programme taught in English. The programme focuses on ecological processes and identifying and evaluating the biotic components of ecosystems on various geographical scales. The curriculum includes lectures, laboratory classes, workshops, seminars, and field trips, and offers practical workshops and environmental lab sessions taught by experts from various fields. Graduates will be able to evaluate ecological processes and make informed decisions about environmental issues. The programme also covers effective teamwork, research methods, and project preparation for environmental conservation and management at both regional and transnational levels. Tuition fee: Free of charge Graduates of the Master of Science in Environmental Protection can pursue various career paths, including: Environmental consultant: Helping companies and organizations to comply with environmental regulations and assess the environmental impact of their operations. Environmental scientist: Conducting research to identify and solve environmental problems, and providing advice and guidance to policymakers and stakeholders. Environmental engineer: Designing and implementing solutions to environmental problems, such as waste management systems and pollution control technologies. Natural resource manager: Managing and conserving natural resources, such as forests, wetlands, and wildlife habitats. Sustainability coordinator: Developing and implementing sustainable practices in businesses and organizations to reduce their environmental impact and improve their social responsibility. Environmental educator: Teaching others about environmental issues, and promoting awareness and conservation efforts. Government regulator: Working for government agencies to enforce environmental regulations and policies, and ensure compliance with national and international environmental standards. Overall, the program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to address complex environmental challenges in a variety of settings, and to contribute to sustainable development and conservation efforts.
